2x2 at the Bath House
i’m honored to have a little piece (2’x2’, to be precise) in the fresh faces show that opens tonight at the bath house cultural center. there are fifty artists showing their 2x2 pieces. the show will be on display through june 5th. stop by tonight or over the next month if you get the chance!

vintage western
this is a custom piece that i recently created for some friends who have a little boy. he had a blank spot over his crib and they wanted something unique to fill the space, but that also wasn’t too baby…something that he is able to grow with. they also wanted to somehow include the meaning of his name and a life verse that they desire for him. we bounced around a few ideas, and then came up with the idea to create a classic looking old western poster that would play off of the fun vintage cowboy fabric that hang on his windows as curtains. i didn’t snap the best photo - this image is actually framed out with a pale blue border. i’ll have to take another sometime. but, it was a fun and different piece for me to create!
